The Minecon Fair - Official Trailer

Minecraft very own fair will be on November 18 and November 19, 2011, in the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas. At this event Minecrafts release will be celebrated but unfortunately, all tickets are sold out.

LoL Season Two - All Changes Listed

In the second season of Riot's League of Legends there will be two main changes, ranked teams and summoner spells.

1.   The first new feature of Season Two are the ranked teams. You can build up a permanent team including your own team name and ELO Rating. This ELO Rating is just a special number given to you to determine your ranking compared to other players. One could say that it displays your skill.
For better organisation, each ranked team will need an own captain with the power to invite or kick new members.

2.   The second big update include the summoner spells like Flash or Heal, here are the changes listed:

• Flash: Gets reduced range
• Clairvoyance: Will get increased cooldown
• Heal: Will be more useful in late game (for example Heal could restore 10% of your health instead of just 200)
• Ignite and Exhaust: Will be removed by Cleanse
• Fortify and Rally: Completely removed by new options, futher info is unknown so far
• Surge: NEW SPELL. Activation gives your champion an aura, increasing combat effectiveness for you and your allies 
• Promote: NEW SPELL, but known in Dominion. You can use it to buff a single minion, increasing its range, armor, and magic resistance, and health.

German AndroidForum Sweepstake

There is a new sweepstake from the german androidsforum.de website. The first prize is a Samsung Galaxy S2, meaning the biggest rival to the new iPhone 4S. If you're lucky to be German, you should join this event instantly because the chances are good. I've just personally participated to the sweepstake, wish me luck.

Gamescom 2012 - Bigger Than Ever

The Gamesocm 2012 will be bigger than ever with more than 167,000 square yard. That's 16% more than last year, so overcrowding shall be prevented. Three months ago, in August, the Gamescom 2011 cut a new record with 275,000 visitors within five days. Due to this big number of people it's a good decision to enlarge the event.

Looking back on the Gamescom 2011
I was there as a journalist so I could enter the event before opening to take pictures like the one above. To play Modern Warfare 3 for example, you had to wait almost 4 hours but Battlefield 3 was the worst with over 6 hours to wait - just to play it for 20 minutes. The Gamescom is the world's biggest trade fair for video games with 275,000 visitors. It's held on Cologne, Germany.

Minecraft - 16 Million Users Reached

Yesterday, Marcus "Notch" Persson has revealed via twitter that there are 16 million registered users in Minecraft and 4 million of them have actually bought the game although it's still in beta phase.

Minecraft is one of the most successful independent games of all time. As a comparison: Four months ago, meaning July, there had been "only" 10 million registered users in Minecraft, the news for the 10 million Minecraft milestone.

GTA 5 - First Details and Trailer

A first trailer and infos about Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto Five were revealed today. In the trailer below you see first impressions of the game and its city Los Santos in South Calidornia, the weather is good and the women easy.

Rumours say that a possible release is set to summer 2012, Rockstar themselves set a huge goal for GTA V: 16 million sold copies and a profit of 746 million US-Dollar. This game is not just a new GTA, it's whole new world with many innovations around it so the player will be able to feel and live in this world. The Grand Theft Auto series gets a whole new invention with its 5th title, Rockstar said.

Even a online multiplayer part was announced. Be ready for more news regarding the game.
